Breaking boundaries
Good Scholarships are a dime a
dozen. But great Scholarships?
Well, it all depends on how you
define ‘great’.
But if your
definition includes one where the organisation really sees to your
career path, job exposure and personal development, then NatSteel
Holdings’ Scholarship/Study Award is really a ‘steel’.
Life @ NatSteel – working hard &
playing hard
At NatSteel,
opportunities for personal growth, advancement to senior management
positions and overseas postings abound.
Chong Pek
Hoong, General Manager of NatSteel Recycling (a subsidiary of
NatSteel) and Arthur Tay, Assistant Vice President, CEO's Office can
vouch for that. Simply click here

The real “Steel” of
the scholarship
Unlike many other organisations, NatSteel's scholarship is open to
all nationalities, and recruitment is limited to only a selct few
each year. This means that we are able to expend energy, effort and
time to groom each scholar individually via a customised development
programme.
During your studies, you will be given the opportunity to experience
multiple internship stints within the various business units of
NatSteel. And in line with our belief in work-life harmony, we will
also invite you to join us at company-organised recreational
activities, community work and even external corporate events. This
peek into the NatSteel world would certainly help you be comfortable
with the NatSteel culture and environment in quick time.
Upon graduation, when you join the NatSteel workforce, you will also
be exposed to the dynamic steel industry, and even in the global
steel markets. In line with NatSteel’s philosophy to bring out the
best in you, expect to have challenging job rotations and
cross-functional project assignments. As part of the NatSteel
culture, you will be placed in a Mentorship Programme and be
mentored by a senior management. Just as this value proposition
gives the best, it also expects only the best to apply.
